Sourcing

We seed each city's directory from Google Maps results for the relevant queries (e.g. "med spa" near Miami), then expand via Instagram tags, local press, and direct submissions.

Verification

Before a listing publishes, we check (at minimum) the venue's website, Google Maps listing, and Instagram — confirming address, services, and that the business is actively operating. Listings without all three are flagged "Partial" and clearly marked.

Ratings

Star ratings are aggregated from public review sources (Google, Yelp, RealSelf where relevant). We don't host or accept user reviews directly yet — when we do, they will be subject to moderation and verification.

Pricing

Typical service prices are pulled from venue websites where published, supplemented by industry benchmark ranges. Actual quoted prices vary; always confirm during your consultation.

Featured placements

When we begin offering paid placements, they will be clearly badged as "Featured" or "Premium." Featured venues do not get higher star ratings, fabricated reviews, or favourable editorial coverage — only positional prominence (e.g. top of city pages, hero placement on service pages).

Removals & corrections

If you're a venue owner and want a listing corrected or removed, contact us via the submit page. We process correction requests within 5 business days.

What we do not provide

Medical Spa Reviews is not medical advice. Always verify a practitioner's credentials (state medical board, nursing license, or aesthetician registration) before booking. Photos and descriptions on this site can be out of date; verify directly with the venue.
